TAGD is proud to offer a Public Funds Investment Act Training, taught by Greg Ellis, that specifically focuses on the requirements and challenges faced by groundwater conservation districts. Please read the following details carefully.
This training will be offered on Tuesday, June 10 from 8am-2pm, with the 4-hour course beginning at 10am. The cost of this training is $175 (4-hour) or $235 (6-hour) per person and includes a meal for a working lunch. For those unable to travel to Pflugerville, we can offer the training virtually, broadcast through GoToWebinar.
You can reserve a room in the TAGD block at the Courtyard by Marriott Pflugerville by clicking here. Reservations made through this link will include complimentary breakfast!
The Public Funds Investment Act requires the designated investment officer of a district governed by Chapter 36 or Chapter 49 of the Texas Water Code to attend six hours of initial training within twelve months after taking office or assuming duties and four hours of renewal training every two years thereafter. Not sure who should take it? Consult your district's legal counsel.
This registration form is for the PFIA training ONLY. The Spring 2025 Regular Business Meeting and GCD Boot Camp: Fundamentals of Geophysics each require a separate registration. For more information and where to register click here.
