TAGD is proud to offer a Public Funds Investment Act Training, taught by Greg Ellis, that focuses on the requirements and challenges faced by groundwater conservation districts.

The Public Funds Investment Act requires the designated investment officer of a district governed by Chapter 36 or Chapter 49 of the Texas Water Code attend six hours of initial training within twelve months after taking office or assuming duties and four hours of renewal training every two years thereafter.  

We appreciate your patience and flexibility as we strive to host a safe, valuable, welcoming event for our members and guests. Please keep in mind that TAGD staff and hotel staff are working their hardest to provide all attendees a pleasant experience. TAGD will communicate the most current policies to attendees before the event.

Several of our members have expressed interest in a livestream option for this training. If your district has a board or staff member that needs this training but is uncomfortable with traveling or gathering in-person, please select that you will participate virtually on the registration form. If you are registering some participants in person and other virtually, please register each type separately.
