TAGD is pleased to present a live Public Funds Investment Act training webinar in lieu of the traditional in-person training at the May business meeting. The Public Funds Investment Act requires the designated investment officer of a district governed by Chapter 36 or Chapter 49 of the Texas Water Code attend six hours of initial training within twelve months after taking office or assuming duties and four hours of renewal training every two years thereafter.

By registering for this live webinar on May 28, you'll receive high-quality education in public funds investments from instructor Greg Ellis, Esq., and maintain your district's compliance with no associated travel costs - you can complete this training anywhere you have internet access!

You will receive instructions to access the webinar by email on or before May 22. *Reliable internet access on a computer is required. This can not be completed on a smartphone or by calling in.*

For the 6-hour course, participants will begin the webinar at 10am, break for lunch from 12pm-1pm, and resume instruction from 1pm-5pm for a total of 6 instructional hours.

Participants in the 4-hour course will begin at 1pm and adjourn at 5pm for a total of 4 instructional hours.
